Crosstex International

Crosstex International, a medical manufacturer and owner of one of the largest spore-testing labs in North America, approached us with plans to develop a robust educational portal for both their customers and distributors.

The project kicked off with a huge data dump of all existing assets and probing conversations with Crosstex staff and Crosstex spore-test users (dental assistants, hygienists, distributors, etc.). Karen Norris, Crosstex Director of Marketing Communications, said, “VWM…went above and beyond to schedule the calls for us. As you might imagine, getting a busy hygienist on the phone is not an easy task, and that saved time was invaluable to our team. VWM quickly became a partner and an extension of my marketing team.”

After clearly defining all the functionality and content, we mapped out an 80+ page responsive site. The site required a navigation that would work for the initial launch but also allow for easy expansion in the future.

We helped Crosstex launch its new website, CrosstexBMS.com — the most advanced, informational and interactive site dedicated to sterility assurance and biological monitoring, complete with content editors for each page and Google analytics tracking.

Customers can now log into the website and purchase branded and private-label products, as well as manage their account and access any one of their spore-test results, 24 hours a day. Web customers also receive fax and email alerts when the system notices a missed weekly spore test, and clinicians can learn from trusted sources and understand compliance regulations and CDC recommendations via educational videos within the site.
